Shtokman-rør blir svindyrt
Rørledningen Nord Stream, som skal frakte Shtokman-gass til Europa er blitt 50 prosent dyrere.

Prosjektkostnaden for gassrørledningen Nord Stream har økt med 48 prosent til 7,4 milliarder euro, sier en talskvinne for Nord Stram, ifølge Bloomberg News mandag. Det tilsvarer 60 milliarder kroner med dagens euro-kurs.
Nord Stream viser til høyere metallpriser og markedsforhold som årsak til de økte kostnadene.
Den 1200 kilometer lange rørledningen skal gå fra Russland til EU via Østersjøen. Gazprom eier 51 prosent av prosjektet, mens E.ON og BASF eier 24,5 prosent hver. Rørledningen ventes å være ferdig en gang etter 2012 og vil ha en kapasitet på 60 milliarder kubikkmeter naturgass årlig. En stor del av kapasiteten er etterhvert ventet å være naturgass fra Shtokman-feltet i Barentshavet.
Interfax meldte tidligere mandag om kostnadsøkningen og viste til et prospekt i forbindelse med en planlagt obligasjonsutstedelse, melder Thomson Financial.
