Kjøper andel i Norskehavet
OMV har kjøpt en andel på 15 prosent i Aasta Hansteen-feltet i Norskehavet fra ExxonMobil.

Det østerrikske selskapet OMV har kjøpt en andel på 15 prosent i Aasta Hansteen-feltet i Norskehavet fra ExxonMobil. I tillegg øker OMV sin andel med 6,15 prosent i gassinfrastrukturprosjektet (NSGI) i Norskehavet.
Det opplyses i en melding fredag.
Aasta Hansteen-utviklingen består av tre betydelig gassfun i Vøring-bassenget i Norskehavet. Ventet netto utvinnbart volum anslås til 40-60 millioner fat oljeekvivalenter med gass og 0,8-1,0 millioner oljeekvivalenter med kondensat på en dybde på rundt 1.300 meter.
Feltutviklingen er nå i FEED-fasen og endelig investeringsbeslutning ventes å bli tatt av andelshaverne i fjerde kvartal 2012.
Produksjon ventes å starte opp i fjerde kvartal 2016.
